El Milagro del Amor translates as The Miracle of Love.A unique Valentine Day gift for a loved one or a magic charm to attract love! The Mexicans believe milagro charms carry prayers to those who can fulfill our wishes.
I have several boxes of assorted Catholic trinkets such as broken rosaries, patron saint medals and prayer cards that belong to my Nonna Annie and Aunt Dina. Going through them i came up with the idea to recycle them and turn them into wearable art.
Authentic Mexican silver heart milagro charms hang from a recycled antique rosary. The rosary beads are glass garnet. A semi-precious garnet bead hangs with the milagro.
